Call of Duty: Black Ops Released!!!

All of us gamers know how eagerly we have been awaiting the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops. For some of us who are yet uninitiated, Call of Duty: Black Ops is a first person shooter video game. Its developers are Treyarch and n-Space with the publishers being Activision and Square Enix. The game is targetted at XBox 360, PlayStation, Wii, Nintendo DS and PC users. Call of Duty: Black Ops was finally released on 9th Nov., 2010 after having been announced on 30th March 2010. Black Ops is the 7th release in the series Call of Duty. Interestingly, it is the first to be set in the Cold War. Its predecessor was Call of Duty: World of War.

The current version is a huge success and has already sold more than 6 million copies in just the US and UK alone since its release on 9th Nov., 2010. Obviously, going by the numbers, it has broken many records including the one set by Modern Warfare 2.

Its designers are Mark Lamia (studio head) and David Vonderhaar (multiplayer design director). Its writer is David S Goyer. The game has several modes including single player, multi-player and co-op. Here are some of the pictures of Call of Duty: Black Ops.
